Charity Weishar, LSW
Hello, I’m Charity — a therapist, somatic guide, and companion in the quiet, powerful work of remembering who you are. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that healing is not about fixing what’s broken, but about reconnecting with the innate wisdom and vitality already living inside you. I hold therapy as a grounded, sacred space — a place to slow down, listen inwardly, and create enough safety for the truth to reveal itself. Whether you’re facing trauma, identity shifts, chronic illness, emotional overwhelm, or simply a longing to feel more like yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with presence, curiosity, and care.
My work is informed by a blend of evidence-based modalities, scientific knowledge, and the embodied wisdom that has emerged through my own path of learning and growing. I’ve learned that when we attune to the body, honor our rhythms, and make space for the parts of us we’ve exiled or forgotten, something remarkable happens: Clarity returns. Creativity awakens. We feel more grounded in who we are and more resourced to imagine a future that feels aligned. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can unburden what has been heavy, reconnect with your inner guidance, and cultivate a more regulated, embodied relationship with your life.
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there” – Rumi
The Deep Work of Remembering & Awakening the Wisdom Within
I help individuals reconnect with their inner strength and create lasting, meaningful change. In this work, healing becomes a process of remembering rather than striving — a return to your true nature, your personal rhythms, and the creative life force that moves through all. I believe we each carry immense healing potential. My role is to help you access it, attune to it, and trust it. Together, we transform struggles into openings for growth, integrating the parts of you that long to be seen, heard, and welcomed back home.
In our sessions, you’ll find a holistic blend of somatic psychotherapy (IFS-informed parts work, nervous system regulation, mindfulness meditation, guided visualization), expressive arts, and elements of archetypal and depth psychology. Together, we explore the seen and unseen aspects of your experience — the stories in your mind, the sensations in your body, the intuitive knowings in your heart, and the symbolic layers of your psyche. Whether you’re navigating a diagnosis, chronic challenges, or the uncertainty of a major life transition, I hold a spacious and compassionate container for whatever is surfacing. This work supports you in transforming limiting beliefs, integrating forgotten aspects of yourself, and cultivating routines and rituals that help you live more authentically.
You don’t need clarity before you begin — only the willingness to show up as you are. Drawing from science, spirituality, and lived wisdom, I honor the many forms of knowledge that shape us and recognize that each person moves through unique paths that require different tools at different times. I’m here to help you feel grounded where you are, reconnect with your own timing, and find light in the shadows. There is a greater force moving through all of us, guiding us toward our awakening, wholeness, and inner alignment. It would be my honor to support you on your path.
