FERTILITY, PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM FOCUSED THERAPY
Hi! I’m Marie and I provide therapy to individuals and couples for fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, and the emotional transitions of family building.
Fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, postpartum changes, birth trauma — these experiences carry emotional weight that often goes unspoken. The path through them is rarely straightforward, and the feelings that surface can be difficult to name, let alone share.
“I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.” ~Sarah Williams
Space to carry less and move forward more fully.
Therapy offers space to slow down and explore the many emotions that can accompany these transitions. Whether you are facing fertility struggles, processing pregnancy loss, adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum changes, or trying to understand the emotional shifts that come with family building, our work together creates room to be honest about what you are carrying — and to move through it with greater clarity and support.
ABOUT MARIE – AN INTEGRATED PERSPECTIVE, SHAPED BY EXPERIENCE
Before becoming a counselor, Marie spent over a decade working in women’s health and fertility as a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese and functional medicine. That experience continues to shape the integrated mind–body perspective she brings to her work today.
The intersection of physical experience and emotional life is rarely acknowledged as fully as it deserves. Marie’s background means she understands, firsthand, how deeply the body and mind inform one another — especially during the tender and complex terrain of fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum.
Motherhood has shaped, influenced, and deepened Marie’s understanding of the emotional transitions that accompany pregnancy, postpartum, and family life. After becoming a mom of two young children and enduring high-risk pregnancies, postpartum anxiety, lactation complications, and heavy postnatal periods, Marie focused on using her experience to support women through their reproductive journeys. She brings both professional training and personal knowing to the work.
